Poco X3 will launch in India today by 12 p.m. via a virtual event. Following the launch of the X3 NFC in European countries, the X3 will finally launch in Indian markets on September 22. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the event will be held as a virtual launch event. It is expected that the X3 variant in India will be a bit different from that of the European models launched this month. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the specs of the device yet. We will have to wait for the launch event to start to know more about the product.
The pricing of the device will be also announced during the launch and will remain unknown until then. The Poco X3 NFC launched in Europe was priced at 229 Euro which is roughly around 19,900 INR for the 6GB – 64GB storage variant. And roughly around 269 Euros which is converted to 23,400 Indian rupees for the 6GB – 128GB storage variant. The pricing will be somewhat similar to the models. So we can expect it to cost around 20,000 INR for the base model of the X3.
Even though the specifications are not yet officially confirmed by Poco, there are rumors stating the possible specs of the X3. The device is most likely to come with a touch screen having a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz sampling rate. It is most likely that the phone will make use of the Snapdragon 730G Soc chipset that comes with fast charging and liquid cooling technology. It is also expected that the device will boast a powerful battery with more than 5000mAh capacity.
It is also possible that the device will have the same camera as the NFC model launched previously with the 64-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 2 megapixel macro Shooter coupled with a 20-megapixel sensor on the front. So let’s wait for the device to launch today at 12:00 p.m. IST to know more about the product.
