As expected, Poco X3 launched in India at 12:00 p.m. IST. The device was launched through a live stream on the social media platforms Facebook and YouTube. The successor of the X2 released back in February this year, also a slight variant of the Poco X3 NFC launched in Europe markets earlier this month will have three different variants in the Indian markets as 6GB + 64GB priced at Rs. 16,999; 6GB + 128GB at Rs. 18,499; and 8GB + 128GB at Rs. 19,999. X3 will be available in two different color variants, Cobalt Blue and Shadow Grey, and will be exclusively available via Flipkart starting September 29, 12:00 p.m.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC processor, Adreno 618 GPU, and up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM. The device will be running on the Android 10 overlaid with MIUI 12 with performance enhancements. The phone will also feature a 6.67 inch full HD+ display with the resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 will protect the screen having 120 Hz refresh rate with 240 Hz touch sampling rate. The touch also have the HDR 10 certification.
When it comes to the camera, the Poco X3 features a quad-rear camera which is a combination of a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor, a 13-megapixel wide angle lens with 119-degree wide Angle capability, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The selfie camera is a 20 Megapixel sensor with f/2.2 lens which doesn’t cover the screen with its brilliant hole punch out.
The 128 GB onboard storage is expandable via micro SD card up to 256GB and the device includes all the basic features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB type C port. One of the most impressive features is the 6000mAh high capacity battery that supports fast charging. So the device will be capable of running all day long even with these high-end specs.
