NASA never fails to surprise us with mind-blowing pictures and videos that we never dreamt would ever see. One of their most popular telescopes, Hubble captured some dazzling photos of the biggest planet in our solar system, Jupiter. The pictures taken on August 25 shows the image of the planet and it’s Moon Europa. The images were taken in ultraviolet where the planet was reflecting the radiation. The pictures show the planet covered in Blue-Hue along with other beautiful colors all over presenting a visual treat.
Apart from just providing a visual presentation of the planet’s beauty, Hubble also captured some storms forming in certain regions of the planet. According to scientists, the storms are traveling at an approximated speed of 350 miles per hour and happens once every few years contributing to the atmospheric condition of the planet giant.
The telescope also captured some red spots of the planet which is a cloud formation rotating in the anti-clockwise direction. According to the researches, the giant red spot is large enough to swallow the entire earth. The spot is estimated to be as large as 9,800 miles.
These images will largely contribute to studies regarding the origin of the planet and its atmospheric conditions. As the latest technologies are going to be invented making it possible to inhabitating outer planets and make them suitable for the existence of mankind, exploring more planets seems to be a pretty nice thing. NASA never hesitated to share their findings outside our small world exploring the wonders that we have never seen before. We can hope that Hubble will capture more epic pictures making it possible to research further about our neighbors and possibly find something useful for our universal explorations.
